The ESOS Phase 2 deadline of 5th December 2019 came and went and we are still getting calls from people who need our help. We’ve delivered quite a few ESOS assessments this time around:

Shhhh, we can’t tell you who this is but we’ve just finished delivering the specialist ESOS transport audits and evidence pack report for a big national chain of supermarkets… With fuel savings identified from better use of telematics and data, to tyre choice, aerodynamics and route planning, Enica identified savings opportunities in the tens of millions of pounds…
Enica have recently completed the ESOS Lead Assessment for the Royal Albert Hall, one of the worlds most famous buildings. The organisation was already well on its way in their energy management journey and we helped identify and develop some interesting business cases for further investment.

Enica are now undertaking several ESOS phase 2 audits ahead of the December 2019 deadline.

We are delighted to announce that Enica will further roll-out the National Trust’s Phase 2 remote metering and renewable asset monitoring system across Wales. On the back of a very successful Phase 1 project, the system will grow to accommodate additional solar PV, ASHP, GSHP, Biomass and hydro renewables across Wales.
Welcome to our latest member of staff, Curtis Thorpe! Curtis has joined the team at Enica as an experienced energy account manager. He brings previous experience of energy management in both public and private sectors at Bridgend Council and Savills Energy as well as manufacturing and engineering experience having previously worked for Airbus at their Broughton wing manufacturing site.
Curtis will be responsible for data management and interaction with our bureau customers to achieve savings.
Enica have been selected to deliver turnkey project management, commissioning, ,measurement and verification and metering for University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s 2018 Salix energy efficiency programme.
The project looks to invest over £800,000 of Salix funded capital into:
Boiler replacements of 4 boiler houses
Lighting upgrades to LED across 3 campuses
BMS improvements
Throughout the duration of the project construction phase and through several years of verification, Enica will be providing our expertise to ensure the project is delivered successfully.
We are pleased to announce that Enica are working with the National Trust to roll out Phase 1 of their renewable energy monitoring and performance measurement system. Project aims to deploy critical metering communications to remote assets and combine with Enica’s eSight platform for analysis and alarming.
