Fully MAINTAINED Energy And Water Metering System

Enica provides system maintenance to the existing metering hardware installed at the University. This is based on Elcomponent technology for which Enica has developed a robust Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP data collection architecture based on Tridium’s Niagara platform with oBIX data streams which seamlessly link with Enica’s eSight cloud based software.

The team at Enica combine a fully inclusive maintenance package for Cardiff Met with eSight software supporting energy data analytics.

The health of the system is continually monitored with auto-alarming in place should a problem occur. Changes in consumption are reported to the university Energy Manager without delay. Regular cost overspend and league table reporting, based on metering data, is carried out allowing the Energy Manager to target areas for improvement and further savings.
